Manu – Sapt Sindhu’s first King, hailed from the New Tribe created by Lord Brahma and ruled India for Long…

We have often heard of this gentleman named Manu. But rarely we read about his whereabouts. First things said first, Manu is the first King of Bharat. In one of the previous posts, I had explained that Manu is not a single person. It’s the word used for Humans or Manushyas. That’s how the king was also called Manu.

What is this obsession of the first king? Were there no kings before in Land of Bharat?

Kingdoms and colonies were not part of India. Bharat, a country with Sapt Sindhu as the boundaries and was occupied by people involved in agriculture. Trade was not introduced. People shared and grew food to survive. But, in the west, Kingdoms were already functioning.

Manu is expected to have invaded Bharat in 14,500 B.C. and the humans residing before that period were only in Agricultural activities. But they were very primitive and the tribe were raw in thinking. In scriptures, they were called as an old tribe. Lord Brahma paved the way for the creation of a new tribe, those who were intellectual and had the abilities to establish and occupy kingdoms.

Yet, the history books say that Aryan invasion had happened only in 1800 BC. Lack of proof is making people believe in the theory of 1800 B.C. Which is also why the epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata are called Mythology. But then everything the fact is the most precious things in our lives are intangible. Maybe we need to appreciate this and accept the presence of Humanity in India since 16,000 B.C.

Beginning of Manu’s Rule and Birth of Surya Vansh and Chandra Vansh

Manu as learnt is Brahma’s creation. Manu was blessed with two children. Namely ‘IKSHVAKU and ‘ILA’. Ikshvaku was the elder one and he would take the throne as per the rule of hierarchy. Because Manu is descendant of Sun, automatically both Ikshvaku and Ila also fall under from Suryavansh.

Rishabh was known for greatness and following rules. Wait a minute, I mean Ikshvaku. Let me tell you, the actual name of Ikshvaku was Rishabh. In his childhood, he fell ill and doesn’t recover for long. One day a sage suggests King Manu give sugar cane juice for some days. After constantly drinking sugar cane juice for days, Rishabh recovers hale and healthy. Impressed and exalted Manu renamed his kid to ‘Iksh’ ‘Vaku’. Which means the one who got his vakku or voice from Sugarcane juice.

Suryavansh is even popular today and is known to all of us more than the Chandravansh.  Let’s get back to history and explore the origins of Chandravansh.

One day Ila is walking in the forest and he sees Goddess Parvathi and Lord Shiva making intimate love. Ila gets mesmerised and hypnotized by the ‘Masculine’ body of Shiva. That leads to energy transformation from Lord Shiva to Ila, exploding his desires of women in him.

Are you are wondering how come a womanly feeling in a man?

Some men and women have feelings for the same gender in differential percentages. But the fact is any human irrespective of gender can fall for the same gender. That exploding of desires lead to arousal of bisexual feelings in Ila. During the time of waxing moon that is in Shukla paksha, Ila develops a womanly feeling. In Krishna paksha, Ila switches to manly feelings.

Bisexual Ila and mental conditions, who is he going to marry?

Indra’s Guru is Brihaspathi. Rakshasas were very powerful and mercilessly attacking Devathas. Indra suffered losses and wanted to save Devas and Kingdom. So, Indra approaches and requests Brihaspathi for starting Yagnas to prevent defeat from rakshasas. Brihaspathi agrees and gets into Yagna.

His wife Tara is all alone in Bhu Loka. Chandra – The King happens to see Tara and both fall in love. Tara felt comfortable with Chandra and elopes with him. Yagnas complete, Brihaspathi returns to find that his wife Tara is missing. Angry Brihaspathi goes to Indra and complains to him and asks for justice.

Strong Indra finds Chandra, defeats him and gets back Tara to Brihaspathi. On her arrival, Tara is found to be pregnant. Hearing this news, defeated King Chandra runs to see her.
The argument on whose kid is in the womb gets started. Tara confesses – ‘Kid is Chandra’s’. Well-informed and learnt Brihaspathi sees this as cheating and shameful act by wife Tara. He curses them ‘Your kid will neither be male or female, the baby will be born transgender’.

Months later, the kid is born and is named Budh. Years later, as destined Budh and Ila meet. Their sexual preferences and souls converge and fall in love. Love turns into a marriage and Ila gets married to a Chandravansh family, giving birth to ‘Chandravansh’.

Story cut short, Suryavanshi rulers are masculine in nature and rule obedient. Kings like Ikshvaku, Raghu, Dashrath and Lord Rama are all from Suryavansh. On the other side, Chandravansh rulers are freedom and liberalistic oriented. Famous ruler of Chandravansh is Bharat on whose name country India – Bharat was created.
